NARRATIVE: On October 4, 2026, at approximately 8:44 p.m., a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling northbound on Highway 83 near mile post 203.5 on North Broadway in Minot at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle struck the rear of a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado that was towing a boat. The motorcycle came to rest in the east ditch, and the pickup came to rest on the highway. The motorcycle rider was transported to Trinity Hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased. The occupants of the Chevrolet were not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota State Patrol.

Why would the driver of the truck pulling the boat be under investigation for charges? The narrative even says the motorcycle crashed into the back of him. It’s the trucks fault the motorcycle couldn’t stop in time?
